Situated in Suffolk County on Long Island’s North Shore, Stony Hollow is positioned by Route 347 N to Old Town Road.  Stony Hollow co-operative is approximately only 10 minutes from Stony Brook University and Stony Brook Hospital.  It an established community built in the 1970’s.  Amenities in this pet friendly community include a new pool in process, 3 new gated security entries, play area, laundry facilities and picnic area. Students living in Stony Hollow attend the Comseqogue School District #3. 

This two story garden style apartment complex requires 10% down as per the co-op board. Each building is locked and a key is needed or you have to be buzzed into the buildings.   Stony Hollow has units on either the first or upper floor.  Some 1st floor units have sliding doors that lead onto patios.  There are junior 1 bedroom, executive 1 bedroom, or 2 and 3 bedroom co-ops when available.   Laundry facilities are usually close to the buildings, and each apartment is entered from a common hallway.  Public records for 2008 shows that Stony Hollow had sales between $83,000 to $180,000.
